Within A New Realm

Well I am done moving into my new house. It was alot of work and I am so very tired and sore. I will miss my old place but I am deeply in love with my new one. .... Now its time to get to work unpacking. *sighs* The work just never ends. Oh well.
Anyway I though I would upload this beuatiful image I created for my photoshop class. Its made using stock photos but I think the result is so beautiful I though I would share it with you all.

Wish me luck unpacking. If no one hears from me by Friday it means that I got barried under a landslide of boxes. Heheh at least the kitties love all the boxes everywhere. And they adore the new place. Even if they havent left the basement yet.

Comics For Cures!

One of the fellow artist from comics obscura Josh Heusinkveld invited the entire group to take part in a special fundraiser called Comics For Cures. So I made up these two 2.5x3.5 cards of my characters from Internal Essence. They are going to be donated to the cuase so Comics for Cures can aution them off on April 4th 2009 along with works of over 200 other artists. The procedes of the aution will go to the American Cancer Soceity.
I'm very happy that they turned out so well for simple sketches. It makes me want to do more sometime. Also my friend Monica and I are working on a new comic together its about on orc and a girl. Since we are going to a comic con we desighned a few buttons for it. I think this is my favorite.

Sexy Wild Cat

I am suppose to be finishing up issue 4 of my comic but I took a break now and again to finish up this little drawing of my ffxi charter Nyrissa. I think she turned out REALLY good. She is my first drawing done 100% on the computer with a tablet then finihsed up on my new toshiba touch screen tablet. (I love my babby!) Let me know waht you think ^^

The Beginning of the .. Beginning

Here it is my first blog post.

I think I should take this opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Christy though online I am known as Avadrea. I am the writer, creator, and artist of Internal Essence as well as being involved in a few other projects. I am a member of Comics Obsucra, a comic book publication group out of Lansing, Mi.

Other then that I enjoy role playing games, video games, and reading books on metaphysics and spiritual thought. I work at a books store in Old Town Lansing which I love very much.

My life is domiated by three birds and two cats. They controll everything. They are dangerous and evil.

So yeah... thats me, that my first blog post, and that my friends, is the beginnning og the beginning.
